Policemen, crooks, and touts all have their share in the excitement, but through it all stands the little woman with the big heart and still more kindly inlluence which has in some abstract way become associated with her nick-name “The New Teacher,” A dazzling Sunshine Comedy supports the feature. Prices as usual. .. » •- v . • ... —— “THE PRISONER OP ZENDA,” “The Prisoner of Zenda,” which has thrilled thousands who have read the book or seen the play, has been made into a photoplay by Rex Ingram,' the man who leaped into the front rank of motion "picture directors by his production of “The l«'our Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” This Metro picture, which comes to the Royal Theatre on Friday night preserves all those elements which made the Edward Rose stage version of the novel by Anthony Hope, on which the photoplay is based, so popular. There are many beautiful settings and gorgeous costumes and there is an exceptional east, which will make the picture talked of for a long time to come. Prices 1/-, 27plus tax, children half-price. On Saturday “The Prodigal Judge” will be screened and comedy “The Barnyard Cavalier.”
