BOWLING.
VISIT TO FEILDING CLUB.
Local bowlers paid a visit to the •Feilding Club yesterday afternoon. Owing to last minute appointments two members, Messrs Roore and Pearson, were unable to make the trip, which necessitated two Feilding men being included in the Foxton rinks during play. Fine weather was experienced and the green was in splendid order. The visitors were welcomed on arrival, and the local president, Mr D. Christie, returned thanks, and extended an invitation to the Feilding Club to return the visii early next season.
The following are the details of play. —
Thomson, Parkin, Healey, Nye (s) 1(3 —Taylor, Oakes, Williamson, Herdman (s) 13. Mattar, Spring, Grey, Christie (s) 11—Quayle, Dummer, Millen, Clapham (s) 30. Howe, Walton, Bum, Admore (s) 16—Lumsdeu, Moore, J. Bartholomew, Spence (s) 24. . The aggregate scores were: — Feilding 67, Foxton 43.
