NOAIINATIONS CLOSE AT NOON TO-AIORROW.

Nominations for the Alavoralty and Council close with the Town Clerk at noon to-morrow, also nominations for one local representative on the Horowheiiua HydroElectric Power Board and for two representatives on the Eoxton Harbour Board. Mr Alex Ross has been nominated tor the Power Board and it is possible that .lie will be re-elected unopposed as he is eminently fitted for the position. Messrs Chrystall and Signal are the two local representatives on the Harbour Board and in view of the good services they, have rendered in the past, there is little possibility of their being opposed for the posit ions.
