Owing to the great interest displayed in the women's knitting competition and enquiries received by the C. AL Ross Co. Ltd., they have decided to hold. a girls’ knitting competition on the Same lines as the women’s. For further particulars see to-day’s change of advertisement. This aflernon, in the Town Hall, at 2 p.in., the Awahou Auctioneering Coy. commenced a large drapery sale of bankrupt slock. Air G. K.
ALiller, who is well-known throughout New Zealand as ail expert drapery auctioneer, has been the successful tenderer for this magnificent English stock, £5,000 of which lias been apportioned for disposal in Eoxton and surrounding dislricf. Ladies would do well to so arrange (heir appointments so as to allow themselves at least one day the privilege of attending this high-class sale.
