BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S REPORT. During the month of March the sum of £1,328 16s 5d was received and has been placed to the credit of the following accounts: —District Fund a/e £1,318 Bs, Council Chambers a/c £lO Os lid, Cemetery a/c 7/6. The ledger balances on the 31st March were:—General a/c £4, 1 66 2s, Reserves £32 9s 9d, both at a debit, a total of £4,798 11s 9d. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £B7 15s Id, Drainage Connection £378 ss, Temporary Deposits £5,000, Gasworks £ll 9s 2d, Hospital and Char. Aid £7 8s Bd, Interest £298 18s 6d, Library £96 17s sd, Council Chambers Recoil. £1,245 4s 4d, Sanitation £45 13s, Town Hall £sl 13s sd, Water and Drainage Loan 3/8, being a total of £7,223 8s 3d.
