PERSONAL.
The friends of Miss Woodraffe and Mr McDonnell (of the local State School staff), and Messrs Fergie and 11. Frankland intend to entertain them at a social function to-night. Captain and Mrs Coffin, of Auckland, are spending a week at Foxton and are the guests of Mr and Mrs P. W. Brown. During the week end the visitors will assist the local Salvation Army officers and be afforded an opportunity of meeting old friends.
