Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 14th March, 1923: “Wool sales are proceeding. The auctions continue fairly animated. The following prices are current for average farmers’ lots: Creasy Merinos, 23d to 29d per 11).; scoured do., 4/- per lb. ; super greasy half-breds sG’s, 20d to 24d per lb.; greasy line halfbreds, 50/56’s, 19d to 22d per lb.; greasy halfbreds, 48 —50’s, 15d to 18d per lb.; greasy line crossbreds, 4G/48’s, 13d to 15d per lb.; greasy medium halfbreds, 44/46’s, lid to 12d per lb.; greasy coarse do., 40/44’s, lOd to lid per lb.; greasy low do., 36/40’s, 9d to lOd per lb.; greasy crossbred pieees, 7id to Bid per lb.; greasy crossbred bellies, 7d to 8d per lb.; greasy crossbred locks, 4|d to 51d per lb.”
