WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND IN lu HOURS 26 MIN UTES.
Auckland, - Lust Night. A new motoring record from Y\xilingloii to Auckland was established by H. L. Campbell and L. F. Bedford m a Durant four', covering the journey in 15 hours 2d minutes, 41 minutes better than the previous . record, put up by W. S. Miller. For the first 3UO miles the roads were good, but Taumatamaire hill was bad. Rain was experienced all the way. Wellington was left at 3 a.m., Wanganui reached at 8, Hawera at . 9.25,.M0kau 11.30, Te Kuiti, 2.5, Hamilton, 3.45, and Auckland at 6.26.
