THE QUINN CASE.
JURY DISAGREE ON SECOND •v CHARGE. ..Gisborne, Last Night. After a retirement of four hours, the jury disagreed on the second charge against .Frances Quinn of the alleged illegal use of an instrument. A new trial was ordered. The trial commenced to-day of Albert Ernest Harris on a charge of alleged use of an instrument. Considerable excitement was caused by an outbreak of fire at the Courthouse yesterday, but the Court proceedings were not delayed an hour. The damage is not great.
