DR. OLIVER’S VISIT TO FOXTON.
Attention is again drawn in our advertising columns to Dr. Oliver’s meeting to be held in the Presbyterian Church to-night at 7.45 p.m. Dr. Oliver is an exceptionally cultured and gifted Christian teacherlecturer and evangelist. lie carries with him references from noted Christian workers some of whom are the following :Dr. Odium, M.A., B.Sc., of Vancouver, 8.C.; Rev. N. P. Patterson, First Presbyterian Church, Beatrice, Nebraska; the late Rev. Wilbur Chapman; and the late Chas. M. Alexander. An interesting commendation is from “Billy” Sunday who sends this message:—“Stand by Oliver, lie lives what he preaches.” A special feature of the service will be the singing which is under the leadership of the gifted Canadian baritone and soloist, Mr A. Cedarholm. The public of Foxton is confidently urged to attend.
