HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 10th inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, irregular but firmer towards close; good business has been done in ‘G’ grade, FebruaryApril shipments sold at £37 10s, ‘J grade up to £35 15s. New Zealand market better demand, small business in fair, Deeember-February, and Januaxy-March shipments £3l 10s, high points not wanted and freely offered at £33.”
