The second round of the Triangular Shield contest was played at Shannon yesterday. The weather was line, but a rather strong wind iiitrcfercd with play and made the run of the bowls uncertain. Play will be on the “sudden death” principle, the loser game falling out of t lie contest.

A rink composed of Ball, Jno Ross, Roore and Nye will visit Feilding on Wednesday next to play a match for the Dixon Cup.
