Wellington, Last Night

A Chinese woman, Shee Ming, aged 33 years, jumped or fell from an upper storey shop in Taranaki Street yesterday and died in hospital t"-day. BUSINESS MAN FOUND HANGING. *Wellington, Last Night. James Duff Cruickshank, a wellknown business man. was tuund dead in his office, hanging by a rope. He was aged 67, and for many vears was in business in Masterton. He came from Wellington as manager for Levin and Co., and later went into business with Mr G. TT. Perry, under the style of J. D. Cruickshank and Co. This business was eventually taken over by Mr Perry and re-named G. IT. Perry and Co., Mr Cniieksliank then left for Wellington and started a business there. He leaves a widow but no children.
