The will of the late A. E. G. Rhodes was sworn for stamp duty purposes at £236,000. It provides only one public bequest,, namely, £2,000 to Christ’s College trustees. The executors are Messrs R. H. Rhodes, St. Andrew’s, South Canterbury; E. .T. Ross and M. H. Godby, solicitors, and the deceased’s only son, Mr Taliu Rhodes. The trustees are instructed, after the payment of expenses and legacies to pay Mr Tabu Rhodes two-thirds, and the only daughter, Mrs G. H. Hutton, onethird of the estate. A-life interest in “Te Kohalm,” the residence, is given to the widow 7 , Avho receives £4,500 a year. Each clerk employed for seven years by Messrs Rhodes, Ross and Godby receives six months’ salary. Small sums are left to servants.
