WEDDING.

V WILLS —BREWER.

A wedding was solemnised at the Registry Office _on Tuesday, 2nd of January, when Miss Elsie May Brewer, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Brewer, of Avenue (toad, Foxton, was united in lnatrimprty to Mr Allan Russell Wills, second Son of. Mr James Wills" of Nghtimotn, Nelson. The bride wore a dress of white crepe-de-ehene, pfeitily braided, and a. transparent hat of. white aerophone and satin. Miss Bemie Brewer, sister of the bride, who officiated as bridesmaid, worefa dess of pale blue crepe-de-clienfe, braided with lemon and a lemon crinoline hat.. Mr Arthur Brewer, ■ brother of the bride, acted as best man.

t After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride’s parents where afterwards a service was held. Those present were 1 then provided with afternoon tea. ■ ■ •

The bride and bridegroom then left by ear en route for Rotorua and district where the honeymoon is to be spent, the bride wearing a fawn gabardine costume, furs and kingfisher blue satin toque relieved with henna.

The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold brooch set with aquamarines; to the bridesmaid, a gold necklet set with amethysts and pearls, and to the best man, a travelling rug. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a. watch.

The presents which were numerous were both useful and costly. After the honeymoon Mr and Mrs Wills will take up their residence at Ngatimotu where Mr Wills is schoolmaster.- The bride will carry away with her the best wishes of her numerous fiends with, whom she was a general favourite.
