Mr Harold Beauchamp, of Wellington, formerly chairman of directors of the Bank of New' Zealand, one of the Dominion’s leading authorities and advisors on finance.
Mr George Elliot, 0.8. E., of Auckland, chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand. Mr Elliott was president of the Auckland Exhibition Committee 1913-1914, and president of the. Auckland Efficiency Board during the Great War. He has served on a number of Royal Commissions and has taken a prominent part in public affairs in New* Zealand for many years.
COMPANION OF THE ORDER OF ST. MICHAEL AND ST. GEORGE . (0.M.G.) -Mr-Edward Newman, of Marton, formerly M.P. for; Manawatu and member of the House of Representatives for 14 years. Among other acts of philantrophy it may be mentioned that he took a prominent part in the very generous movement of sheepowners of the Dominion which resulted in the creation of “The New* Zealand Sheepowners’ Acknowledgment of Debt to British Seamen Fund.”
