Both matches in which Whibley met hi- opponents were in doubt until the filial head, the finish of the Tlmmson-Whibley game being played in the rain, which also interferred with the tinisli of the day’s play. A game for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon, the holders retaining the trophies by a lair margin. The details are as follows: — D. Whibley, Heasinan. Healey, Admore (sj 21, Roore.
