PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the above wa> held on Monday. There were present: — Mesdames Austin-Jotm-slon (president), F. Robinson, Pear-on, Cowley, Trueman, Rowley, Hynes, Christie, Chrystall, Moore. McDonald and MeMurray.

The nurse's report showed four visits to Foxton for October; number of babies to otiice, 52; adults, 48; vi.-its to home, 2, a total of 100. The half-yearly quota of the nurse's salary, £ls, was passed for

payment. The annual meeting was arranged for, to take place the third week in November. Collection box contained 4/-.
