TENNIS NOTES.
Tlio Levin Club is sending a team of six Indies mid six men 10 play Foxton on the loenl eourts on Saturday, lltli insr., play commencing at 1.30 p.m. The Foxton team is as follows: —
Ladies. —Misses P. MeMurray, C. Beard, H. Perreau and Mesdames MeMurray, Moore and S. Austin. Men. —Messrs L. C. Bx-yant, 1L MeMnrray, E. T. Dr Wyllie, ('. Proeter, and W. Ross. Emergency, N. Ross.
Ladder matches played (challenger mentioned first): —R, MeMurray 43 v. G. Thorpe 50; Miss C. W. Beard 3S v. Mrs Moore 40; Mrs S. Austin 31 v. Miss R. Perreau 40.
Owing to the inclement weather many ladder matches have been post polled, but it is hoped these will he played as soon as possible.
All members are urgently requested to attend the special general meeting to be held in the Town Ilall supper-room on Thursday, Kith inst., when the Club rules will lie re-drafted to comply with the Incorporation Act, This being an important matter affecting the future welfare and progress of the Club, a full attendance is expected.
