The Xyo Penis again changed hands yesterday, a rink skipped by Admore defeating Christie's ring. In the absence of Xye, and F. Whibley, Hunt ley and .Tno. Ross played for Christie, and I leas man was second man for Admore in place of Healey. The game was evenly contested until the last few heads, a feature of the game being the excellent play of Admore, who repeatedly saved his rink with accurate drawing. The following are the details: — D. Whildey, Heasmau, McColl, Admore (-), 22: Ball, Ross, Huntley. Christie (s), If). The next match will be with a challenging rink consisting of Konro, Walker, Smith, Barr (s). Huntley and Walton have posted a challenge against Roore and Barr for the Stevenson Pennants. Entries for the Wilfnrd Cup Singles Competition close on Saturday of this week. An entrance fee of 2/(5 is being charged and intending competitors are asked to hand in their names promptly. A poster setting out the dates and particulars of the Rotorua Bowling Club's Annual Open Tournament is displayed at the pavilion. The combined Dannevirkc, Pallia - tit a and Woodville Clubs are holding their first annual ChristinaPairs Tournament, to he played on the greens of those clubs on December 25th. and 26th. Details are posted in the pavilion. It i> anticipated the first round of the Triangular Shield contest will he played at Foxton on Wednesday. 15th in-t.
