RIFLE SHOOTING.

A practice shoot was held last Saturday, 10 shots at 300 yards. The day was tine and warm, and the attendance a little better than ttye previous Saturday. There was a very tricky north-east breeze, which accounted for many threes, but Messrs A. Barnard and Head did well. . The scores were as follows : A. Barnard 46, S. Head 45, W. Symons 42, C. Barnard 41, S. J. Hartley 41, H. Frankland 40, C. Rand 35, H. Hamer 33, A. E. Admore 28. Next Saturday’s shoot will be held at 500 yards.
