“THE LAW AND THE WOMAN.”

This dramatic seven-reel production will be shown at the Cabaret to-morrow night. Betty Compson, who made such a success of “The Little Minister” and “At the End of the World,” plays the leading role. The story is based on the famous play, “The Woman In the Case,” a play that has lasted for many years and is still being played in the provincial towns of England. The scene where a woman confesses to a crime after her superstitious fears have been played upon is intense to a degree. On Saturday next a super-feature entitled “Partners of the Tide” will be shown, and a reminder is given that “The Sheik” is coming on the 31st.
