PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the coinmil tee was held yesterday. There were present: Mesdames AustinJohnston (president), F. Robinson, Pearson. F. McDonald, Trueman, Hynes, Christie, Rowley, Moore. Walton, and McMiirray. The Nurse’s report showed that four visits had been made to Foxton: 29 babies and 30 adults had visited the office: 3 visits by Nurse to homes, and 2 new eases. The hon. secretary reported that Nurse Kearins would take up the duties of' permanent nurse on September Btl>. Final arrangements were made for the social afternoon on Wednesday. The committee would be pleased to receive donations of cakes, etc., for sale at the afternoon.
