DOUBLE TRAGEDY FEARED.
TWO BOYS WHO WENT PUNTING. Hastings, August lfi. Two lads named Lyons, aged 8 and 12, went out in a punt on Te Ila.uke lake on Sunday afternoon and did not return. The punt was washed ashore. A continuous search since has found no trace of the boys and they are believed to have been drowned.
