THE STRASBURG CLOCK.
EXHIBITION IN FOXTON.
The wonderful working of the world-famous Strasburg clock will commence a. three days’ season in the Masonic Hall to-day. The model performs all the intricate and wonilrotts working of the great original —the procession of the twelve npostles, the appearance of the Saviour. Peter’s denial of Christ, the crowing of' the cock on the tower, the visitation of Satan, and the appearance of the grim figure of death. All these movements take place every 15 minutes. This is one of the most interesting and educational exhibitions touring the world. The exhibition visited Auckland in 1886. This is first visit to Foxton. It has been shown in every part of the civilised world. As the model is to return to its home in Alsace-Lor-raine at the termination of its New Zealand tour, readers should avail themselves of the opportunity of viewing this masterpiece of mechanical skill. The season is for three days only, to-day, Friday and Saturday, and the hours of showing are: Afternoon, 2 till 5; evenings 7 till 10. Admission: adults Is, children under 14. fid.
