On Wednesday night at the Royal a Universal Special attraction will be shown entitled “The Blazing Trail,” starring the well-konwn artist, Frank Mayo. The setting for the picture is in the mountains of Virginia. They don’t, ask questions in the blue ridge mountains of Virginia. They shoot first and argue about it later. That is one of the reasons why you will get a whirlwind of thrills out of this great outdoor drama. Extra : “The White Horseman.” Prices 6d and 1/1 plus tax. Children half price. On Thursday night the second of the famous Stoll “Adventures of Shex'lock Holmes” series, entitled “The Dying Detective” will be screened. Also another episode of the thrilling-serial, “Fantomas.” Look out for “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” to be shown soon. On Friday night the Otaki Concert Party will appear at the Royal Theatre and render songs, duets and instrumental items. This promises to be a real treat programme and should be enjoyed by all.
