WATER AND DRAINAGE CONNECTIONS.
At last night’s Borough Council meeting, letters were read from various finus re suggestions for connecting dwellings and premises with the water and sewerage mains. Mr J. McColl, local certificated plumber, was also in attendance. After a lengthy discussion it was decided to take a poll of the ratepayers on a loan of £2,500 to assist those requiring financial aid in making- the connections.
