SCHOOL AT POROUTAWHAO.
Mr Ed. Newman, M.P., has received the following letter from the Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister for Education :—“With reference to the deputation that waited upon me on the 19th instant, urging the'erection of a school at Poroutawliao, I have pleasure in informing you that I have uow approved a grant for the purpose and the Education Board lias been informed accordingly.”
