WATER AND DRAINAGE
At last night’s Council meeting it was decided that the. Engineer ohtain further quotations for appr<»B4r~ mately 80 chains of concrete or earthenware pipes, acceptance of same to be left to .the Water and Drainage Committee with power to \ act; the said pipes to be laid as shown on the plan, viz., Whitaker St, north and south, Avenue Road, north side, Tliynne 'St., north side, and Robinson St., north side with connecting sewer on Russell Street. DONATION. It was decided that Mrs C. A. Pearson be thanked for a donation of 21 books for the public library.
