POISONING FATALITY.

DISTRESSING CASE AT HASTINGS. Hastings, Yesterday. A distressing poisoning fatality took place on Saturday evening when a young married man, Michael J. Chaafe, aged 38 years, lost his life. Deceased and his brother, Alfred, partook of stout mixed with what they took for port wine from a wine bottle on a side table. The bottle contained weed-killer. Alfred is still in a serious condition.
