POLITICAL PARTNERSHIP DISSOLVED.
Wellington, Last Night. Mi' Statham, M.P., who has been a member of the United LiberalLabour Party since February last, has notified Mr Wilford, leader of that party, of his intention to resign from the party, and has resigned. In reference to the resignation Mr Wilford states that the course taken by Mr Statham is one in which he entirely agrees, for it is impossible for him and Mr Statham to see eye to eye Avith' one another. “We have parted good friends,” said Mr Wilford, “and there is no feeling of hostility in any way between us. Mr Statham is quite entitled to follow the course he is following.”
