The Manawatu County Council notifies that a special roll of ratepayers for the Shannon Road special rating district, re loan of £1,200 for constructing road and stopbank, is open for inspection at the County offices, Sanson until July 4. On Friday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. the Foxton Auctioneering Coy. will sell at their mart, Avenue Road, 5,000 ft timber, 1,000 macrocarpa trees, 1,000 pinus insignus trees, quantity of apple trees, roses, and ornamental trees and shrubs. The whole consignment will be sold without reserve.
