FOXTON FIRE BOARD.
GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTED. Mr Hornblow received intimation to-day from the Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. Downie Stewart) that “the Governor-General had been pleased to appoint him as Government representative on the Foxton Fire Board. The appointment is dated 23rd instant.” The Borough Council’s represenla lives are: The Mayor (Mr John Chrystall) find Crs. Bryant and Smith. Three representatives have yet to be appointed by the Insurance com-' panies.
