ROYAL PICTURES
It has been said of Hobart Bosworth that he is one of the most vital actors on the screen. His pictures are invariably based upon rugged characterisations. They always permit him to indulge in redblooded action in which he rises to the highest of emotional ‘power. “A Thousand to One” is an excellent example of what the spectators have come to expect in a Bosworth offering and this picture is to be screened on Friday night. It- is twofisted and vivid and holds the onlooker deeply interested. The picture is adapted from Max Brand’s popular story “Fate’s Honeymoon,” and tells of the redemption of a man of brutal instincts into a figure of honesty and kindliness. It pulsates with life. Ethel Gray Terry supported by a big cast is in the leading, feminine role.
