TOWN HALL PICTURES.
The exceptionally strong east in “The Furnace” to be shown at the Town Hall on Wednesday night is a suffieien guarantee of the quality of the programme. The story is quite a modern one. A superfashionable wedding, a wonderful honeymoon, a country place, a town mansion, unlimited wealth —everything was as ashes to both bride and bridegroom because jealousy, suspicion and the artificiality of modern society life had driven out the saving graee of human affection and all that is best in life.
