RutherI'urd, secretary of the Palmerston Xorth Returned Soldiers Association, writes as follows to Mr Hornldow: —“On behalf of my Executive Committee, L desire to convey to you our very simfere thanks for the great assistance volt have given us in promoting and carrying out the PoppyDay scheme in your district. I can assure you that your goodness will lie always greatly appreciated by us here. “The total sales for the local R. S. A. district is now £460.-’
