WILFORD CUP. The following is the drawing for the third round of the Wilford Cup Singles Handicap Competition: Nye v. Galland, Healey v. Christie, Heasman v. Ross, Walton v. Parkin, Walker v. Huntley, F. Whibley v. Woods, Admore v. McColl, Pearson v. Follas, Freeman v. D. Whibley, Roore v. Stubbing, Spring v. Barr, Smith v. Fogden, Bryant v. Poole. The third round is to be completed by Wednesday, March Bth. A match for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon, the challenging team being skipped by F. Whibley. The holders maintained a slight lead’from the start, which was maintained until the close of the game, when the margin was increased to 23—14. The following are the details : Holders.
