SOCIAL AND PRESENTATION.
A most enjoyable social gathering was held last qvening in the Methodist School Hall, when the officials and members of the Methodist Church entertained Miss Signal and Mr G. Honore, in honour of their approaching wedding. At a suitable interval, the Rev. L. Minilie,,on' behalf of the Church, referred to the excellent work rendered by thee guests .of the evening in connection with various church activities. Miss Signal had taken a prominent: and active interest-in the Ladies’ Guild, whilst Mr Honore had rendered good service as a .trustee". On behalf of the church Mr Minifie presented the guests with a full set- of cutlery, at (he same time wishing them health and happiness. Mr M. H. Walker, on behalf of the Church Trustees, also referred to the good ijualities ~f the guest-, ant endorsed what bad already been said. Mr Honore suitably acknowledged the good wishes and tokens of esteem. An excellent supper was disp- used by the Ladies’ Coniniiltee.
