PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting °f the Plunket Society was held at the Plunket Room on Monday afternoon. There were present: Mesdames F. Robinson (in the chair), Halliday, Pearson, Christie, Chrystall, Hynes, Moorhouse, and McMurray (li‘>jh *<?£•)• The lion. Secretary reported that the Beach shop day' had been successful in raising £l2. Residents at the Beach had expressed their willingness to assist the Society, as quite a number of mothers found it convenient to visit the nurse at Foxtop. The nurse’s report showed that 32 babies ami 34 adults had visited the room during January. There was one new case.
