THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:—
The indications are for northerly winds strong to gale, an backing by west to south after about twentyfour hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising after about twenty-four hours to thirty-six hours. Seas heavy, tides good.
