DANDY DIXIE MINSTRELS
The above Company is to appear at the Town Hall on Monday night next, and judging by reports received from other centres, the entertainment is well worth seeing. The Company has had a very successful lour through the South Island, and are now etpbarking upon the North. Mr Jolly Larkins, a famous American coloured comedian, heads the combination. He is a host in himself, supported by an excellent aggregation of vaudeville artists, among whom is that well-known and popular coloured comedian, Mr Billy Summer. Mr Don. Wallace, the singing vagabond, is another head liner, and is too well known to need much recommendation. The Hawthorne sisters provide harmony duets, and appear successfully in farce comedy. Miss Daisy Morris is the soubretto, her way being entirely captivating. All should make an effort to be present at this excellent show.
