SCULLING CHAMPIONS
HADFIELD AND PADDON. Wanganui, Jan. 25. The supporters of Hadlield lodged a cheque for £IOO at the Herald office this morning to cover a similar amount lodged by G. Seifert at the Waikato Times office to bind a race with Paddon, to be rowed on the Wanganui river in the vicinity of the Easter holidays. Advice has been received that Floyd is looking after Paddon’s interests, and will probably accompany him to Wanganui.
