EX-SECRETARY ARRESTED
Wellington, Jan. 25. The police state that John Arbuckle, cx-,secretary of the Miners’ Federation, has been arrested in New South Wales on a charge of the I heft of sums of money belonging to the Federation and Broken Hill funds. It is said that the sum runs into several thousands. A constable is leaving Wellington for Sydney to bring the accused back.
