BOY DROWNED AT TOKOMARU.

Another sad fatality is chronicled from Tokomaru. On Sunday afternoon a lad of 8 years and 5 months, named Stanley Peter Jamieson, went to play near a dam with two brothers named Pope. After they had been in company for some time, Jamieson left his companions and set off towards a flaxmill in the locality. At about 5.45 p.m.tlie brothers were passing the dam, and noticed Jamieson’s clothes on the hank. He was nowhere in sight, and having searched the locality, they gave the alarm. His dead body was later found at the bottom of the dam. Deceased was the son of .Mr Laurenson Jamieson, a flaxmiller, of Tokomaru.
