The local Plunket Society notify by advertisement that Nurse Bosher will be in attendance at the Plunket room, Clyde Street (next garage), every Friday, from 11 to 12, and 2 to 5 p.m. Next Friday Nurse Bosher will have a talk with mothers from 3 to 4 p.m. On Tuesday next the Foxton Auctioneering Coy. will hold an unreserved auction sale of flax machinery, piping and liftings, pulleys, belting, shafting, timber, etc., on account of Mr R. 11. Nimmo. The sale will be held at the mart, Avenue Road, and will commence at 1 p.m. Full particulars will appear in Thursday’s issue. The C. M. Ross Coy. have on sale at, present a Cambric Print in light, grounds, wit IT black or blue stripes,

at 1/-. This is a very suitable line for ladies’ and children’s, wear, or men’s shirts. As we have only 1,000 yards, we would ask you to call early, as we anticipate a speedy clearance. If you can’t call, write for patterns. —Advt.
