RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Wednesday three members went out for a shoot. Conditions were as had as on the previous Saturday—the same changeable wind blowing. Scores were (000 yards): N. Hughes 34, 11. Frankland 32, J. Rider (7 shots) 25, 500 yds. 20. A bright sky and a slight right breeze, changing later to the left, prevailed on Saturday, when a practice at 200 yards was held. Several members were again absent. Shooting was fairly good, showing an average of 43.3, the scores being as follows: —
