TOWN HALL PICTURES.
The leading film in the Town Hall programme to-morrow evening is another of the popular South Sea Island stories, this picture, “The Torrent,” being adapted from George Rix’s novel, “Out of the Sunset.” It is the stirring, story of a society wife marooned on an island in the Pacific; of a U.S. Navy aviator saved from a watery grave; and of what people said and thought,, and di'd when these two came back from their tremendous experience. You never saw in your life such magnificent and thrilling scenes, or felt such suspense. See “The Torrent,” starring Eva Novak and Jack Perrin, and have at least one crowded hour of perfect entertainment. Also “The Diamond Queen” serial, a. Century Comedy, and News. All should} keep in mind Thursday's screening of Priscilla Dean’s big feature, “Outside the Law.”
