MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.

Six nominations were received at noon to-day to fill five vacancies on the Moutoa Drainage Board, viz.: Alessrs AV. E. Barber, John Chrystall, F. S. Easton, Kenneth Easton, Abraham King, and Oswald Upton. A poll will be taken at the office of the Board on Alonday, November 7th, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Elsewhere in this issue the Minister of Public Works gives notice of intention to take land for scenic purp&ses in Block I, Alount Robinson Survey District.
