RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Wednesday a I‘cav members had a shoot, ,at 600 yards. Weather conditions Avere fairly good. Barnard made 42, C. Barnard 40, N. E. Hughes 34. On Saturday a practice shoot was held, at 600 yards . The attendance Avas only fair. The light Avas variable, the Avind very tricky and changeable, and the flags proved more deceitful than helpful. C. Barnard’s 43 Avas really good under these conditions, but scoring generally Avas loav. The folloAving were the scores: —
F. Daniels 23 23 The shoot next Saturday will bo 10 shots at 200 yards. There will be a shoot on Wednesday also.
