A practice Avill be held on Victoria Park pitch to-im|rrow afternoon, after Avhich an informal meeting Avill be held to discuss the prospects for cricket this season, and consider questions that might be dealt with at a general meeting Avhich Avill be called for next Aveck. The prospects for the coming season so far have not appeared as bright as one might Avish, but nevertheless another effort Avill be made to get a good general meeting, Avhen the matter can be gone fully into. In vieAV of these facts, it is hoped (hat all those interested in the game in any Avay will make a point of attending the meeting next Aveek, the exact date of Avhich will be advertised in Saturday’s issue.
